Leadership Development
Building strong student leaders is at the heart of what we do at OSE. We offer a few different ways to support your growth as a leader and strengthen your organization, from team workshops to larger community gatherings and trainings.
Peer Facilitator Workshops
OSE's trained student Peer Facilitators lead interactive, dialogue-based workshops designed to spark reflection and meaningful conversation. Workshops can be tailored to your leadership team or your full organization, and topics range from best practices for selection-based processes to leadership identity, conflict navigation, building community agreements, and lifelong leadership. We also host lighter, dialogic conversations on topics relevant to your org, designed to bring people together for thoughtful discussion. If you have a different topic in mind, we're happy to design something custom together.
Peer Facilitators also lead larger quarterly trainings that dive deeper into specific topics, like event planning, funding, and more.
Leadership Summits
Leadership Summits bring together leaders from similar communities to connect, troubleshoot shared challenges, and build relationships with OSE advisors and relevant campus stakeholders. These gatherings are led by our facilitators and typically include time for both large-group discussion and smaller breakout conversations organized around your community's needs. Leaders walk away with practical takeaways like a shared communication channel, community agreements, and a calendar of key dates across groups.
We're always interested in partnering with student groups on future summits, since these gatherings work best with buy-in and co-creation from student leaders.
