Alleged misconduct and violations of university policies and practices are forwarded to Office of Student Engagement or the Office of Community Standards for review. Past examples of situations that have been reported include:

  • Hazing
  • Violation of event policies, including campus disruption
  • Financial mismanagement
  • Theft/vandalism
  • Inadequate party planning
  • Assault
  • Providing alcohol to minors

Administrative actions have included restitution, community service, event cancellation, return of university funding, and loss of university privileges including university recognition. In the event that a problem is reported, all members of the student organization are expected to cooperate fully and communicate openly, with university staff in addressing issues of misconduct.
