Pete enjoys advising students and problem solving in his role as OSE Associate Director. He got his bachelor degree in journalism at Saint Louis University and is Master’s in Higher education administration and leadership development from Columbia University’s Teachers College. Pete worked as the Student Initiated Program Director at the Haas Center for Public Service before joining the OSE. Before Stanford, Pete worked at Columbia University where he oversaw their version of SPOT, and advised the campus activist and organizing community. Before launching his career in Higher Ed, Pete spent a decade as a nomadic hippy, traveling America and the world, while attending as many music festivals and baseball games as possible.

These days Pete lives with his family in Half Moon Bay and enjoys hanging out with his daughters Violet (6) and Grace (5) and his wife Katie (a program manager at Stanford’s Precourt Institute for Energy). He loves the great outdoors, music of all kinds, and is a big sports fan. He pulls for his hometown teams - the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, as well as his alma mater, Saint Louis University, University of Illinois basketball - and, of course, the Stanford Cardinal (Go Trees!).
