New Voluntary Student Organization (NVSO) Applications
The application (sign into CardinalEngage first) has now opened for Stanford students who are ready to apply! You can learn more on the website section, read an overview on the how-to page, or dive right into the application process.
NVSO Application Timeline
- Winter Applications Open: January 19, 2026
- Winter Applications Close: February 2, 2026
- Winter Phase II Decisions Released: March 2, 2026
2026-2027 ASSU Annual Grants
This is a friendly reminder that Annual Grants are due this Friday, January 23 at 11:59 PM. If your group plans to apply, we strongly encourage you to begin and submit your application as early as possible. Annual Grants require thoughtful planning and should not be rushed on the final day. Please note that high submission volume on the deadline may result in technical issues that could prevent timely submission. Email the ASSU if you have any questions.
VSO Logos
If you have a new or updated logo, you can submit it via this new form for review by the Office of Student Engagement team. All logos must comply with the Stanford Identity Guide. Stanford’s logos may not be placed alongside, combined with, or incorporated into another logo or design, including the Block “S” with tree. More suggestions on branding and logos can be found here.
SAA Board of Directors Virtual Mixer
The Stanford Alumni Association (SAA) invites students to an exciting virtual mixer with members of the SAA Board of Directors on THURSDAY, JAN 22, 2026, from 1:20-2:00 p.m. This event will be held on Zoom, and students must attend a 15-minute orientation to join.
This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with alums from diverse industries, locations and career paths, helping you expand your network.

We recommend meeting with OSE as outlined in the Application process for optimal results.
