February Fashion

On February 28th, FashionX returned to the iconic Memorial Church for the third year in a row to debut their annual showcase. This year’s theme, “The Mirror Stage,” took a deep dive into the theories of Jacques Lacan, using concepts of self-reflection as a creative spark. The historic venue provided a stunning, moody backdrop for a night that pushed the boundaries of student-led fashion.

Stunning Visuals, Vibes

The organization's leadership truly leveled up the production this time with Arbor Live assisting with sound and light. With immersive lighting and a soundtrack that perfectly set the vibe, the energy in the room was unmatched. FashionX Runway served as the ultimate platform for student designers to bring their vision to life, showcasing high-concept collections in front of an enthusiastic, high-energy crowd.

Flowers, Given

As has become tradition, the event was a complete sell-out and stood out as a major highlight of Stanford’s Family Weekend. It brought together students and visiting families for a celebration of the university’s creative pulse. It was a spectacular wrap to the winter quarter, proving once again that FashionX is one of the most exciting student orgs to find community in.
