Don’t Be Dormant
The re-registration deadline is this Monday, September 15th. Many student organizations have submitted their registration for the 2025-2026 academic year. Clubs that did not re-register for this year will be set to dormant status in CardinalEngage. To begin the reactivation process for the group after going dormant, please email studentengagement@stanford.edu to set up an advisement appointment within the first 3 quarters. Groups will be sunsetted after 3 quarters of inactivity.
StopHazing
Stanford is committed to fostering experiences, relationships, and environments that contribute to the good of our community and ensure that every student feels a firm sense of belonging. Hazing of any kind is antithetical to these goals and many hazing activities are also against the law. Stanford prohibits hazing activities. Learn more about StopHazing on the dedicated website.
This academic year, 5 student leaders for each student org will be required to complete mandatory student trainings in order to be in good standing. More information will be coming as additional student org trainings get published.
Registrar Scheduled Classrooms
AvailabilityDuring the first 2 weeks of the quarter, the free classrooms managed by the Registrar's Office are not fully available for student org meetings. You can try your luck to reserve a space for your club meeting but Week 3 is more of a sure thing. As a reminder, classroom requests must be submitted 5 business days in advance. See the table below, for which weeks classrooms are available to request:
Last Call for FestiFall 2025
FestiFall: A Student Organization Festival is a lively event to showcase student organizations to students exploring involvement and community-building opportunities. The fair will be three days, from Monday, September 29 to Wednesday, October 1, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM in White Plaza with each day designated for specific types of organizations. Registration and more information is open on CardinalEngage. The deadline to sign up is Monday, September 22, 2025.
