Stanford’s ultimate student org night at the museum officially went down on Thursday, May 21, 2026! La Soirée Cardinale took over the campus galleries for a whimsical, slightly mischievous party celebrating the university's awesome creative scene. Brought together by FashionX, Cantor Arts Center, the Anderson Collection, and Cardinal Nights, it was a packed house of students getting a rare chance to hang out in the museums after hours.
This year’s concept was "Through the Looking Glass: Art as Mirror," diving into perception and imagination. The night kicked off at 7:00 PM with check-in at the Anderson, leading straight into a full-on red carpet arrival where photographers snapped everyone's looks. Once inside, guests grabbed some free bites, got hands-on with DIY art workshops, and enjoyed exclusive, private access to the museum exhibits with friends.
We also had a killer music lineup that kept the energy moving all night. Things started out chill with Afro-Latin Jazz and immersive soundscapes by dJai, Eric Wang & Sean Tan, and fp-matrix (Pauline Mornet). Then, everyone hit the dance floor to close out the night with high-energy live sets from Marmalade and Girl Band. It was definitely a night to remember!
