About the Symposium
The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Leadership Symposium is a three-day leadership conference that brings together student delegations from ACC member institutions for a weekend of community building, leadership development, and collaboration. Participants engage in interactive workshops, keynote sessions, service projects, and case studies, all centered around strengths-based leadership and purpose-driven growth.
The ACC is dedicated to supporting the growth of student leaders across its member universities through athletics, academics, and campus engagement. The symposium aims to help students connect leadership learning to real-world impact while strengthening collaboration across campuses.
Stanford University will nominate five undergraduate student delegates to attend the 2026 ACC Leadership Symposium. Selected delegates will represent Stanford alongside peers from 17 other ACC institutions.
Delegates will:
- Represent and uphold Stanford’s policies, standards, and values.
- Attend one pre-departure meeting (January 2026).
- Fully participate in all sessions during the Symposium (Feb 6–8).
- Join one post-Symposium reflection meeting (February-March 2026).
- Share insights and lessons learned with campus partners and student leaders.
Eligibility
- Current, full-time Stanford undergraduate student enrolled during the Symposium dates.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or involvement in campus or community initiatives.
- Good academic and conduct standing.
- Availability for all Symposium dates and meetings.
Funding & Travel
There is no cost to participants. All expenses are covered for selected delegates, including: transportation, lodging and meals during the symposium, and registration fees. Accessibility or accommodation requests can be supported, students with specific needs are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Engagement in advance.
