ACC Student Leadership Symposium 2026
ACC Student Leadership Symposium 2026 at Virginia Tech
This annual three-day leadership conference brings together student delegations from every institution across the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Throughout the event, participants network with fellow peers, explore frameworks for social change, and engage in intensive leadership development workshops.
Funded by revenue from the ACC Football Championship game and hosted on a rotating basis among member schools, the symposium is designed to foster a collaborative spirit of leadership across the entire conference.
Leadership & Engagement
The symposium offers a premier platform for students to collaborate on the pressing issues facing higher education today. Participants have the opportunity to learn from the diverse perspectives of their peers, reflect deeply on the year's specific theme (The Evolution of You), and ultimately present their findings and experiences to the rest of the delegation.
The schedule balances formal workshops and keynote speakers with organic networking. Beyond the curriculum, students gain practical experience in "adulting"—managing time, navigating new environments, and balancing professional responsibilities while experiencing life on a different campus.
Advisors from various ACC Offices of Student Engagement—the teams responsible for student organizations and campus programming—utilize the symposium to exchange best practices. By sharing their institutional successes and challenges, advisors gather valuable insights to bring back to their home campuses while strengthening the professional bonds that encourage inter-conference collaboration.
Applications for Next Year
As the "torch" was officially passed to Georgia Tech for next year, the delegation expressed deep appreciation for Virginia Tech’s hospitality and look forward to continuing the momentum in Atlanta.
