ASSU Standard Grants - Undergraduate Senate Appropriations Committee

$0 - $6,000 throughout the year ($7000 cap for Community Service Groups)

ASSU Quick Grants - Undergraduate Senate Appropriations Committee $0 - $6,000 throughout the year 2 weeks or less before the event. No retroactive funding. Application, Interview, and Approps approval required.  Approps Office Hours here
ASSU General Fees - Graduate Student Council $6,000 per year cumulative At least 3 weeks before the event Application and Interview required. The events must have an impact on graduate student life.
ASSU Special Fees $6000+ one-time budget for following year Early Winter Quarter for following academic year, decided during spring ASSU election Attend a required workshop. Must serve both undergraduates and graduates
The Stanford Fund Partnership (TSF) Ranges. Max of $10,000 Primary funding done in Spring Quarter for following academic year. Small round in Fall Quarter. Attend a required workshop.

 

Secondary Sources of Funding

Co-sponsors speaker events, funds used for speaker honoraria

Bechtel International Center's Billie Achilles Fund Up to $1,000 per event or up to $3,000/year Second Friday of the activity quarter Activities should be held in the Bechtel International Center building. Must be focused on international topics.
Bingham Fund for Student Innovation in Human Biology Large grants Apply by Oct 31 or April 30 For HumBio majors only
Stanford Student Campus Engagement Mini-Grant  Up to $2,000 twice per year

Haas Center: Cardinal Commitment Grants Up to $2,000 per group per year Rolling

Open to community service groups. Requires that groups must have tried to obtain funding through ASSU and TSF first. Contact Pete Cerneka for advising and more details.

Haas Center: Event Co-Sponsorship Varies Rolling Must align with Haas Center's mission: to realize a just and sustainable world through service, scholarship, and community partnerships. Requests must be made at least 30 days prior to event. Contact Pete Cerneka for advising and more details.
Haas Center: Social Impact Groups Up to $6,500 per group per year Rolling For larger or more complex program funding needs. Programming should focus on helping implement innovations that address social issues. Contact Pete Cerneka for advising and more details.
Stanford Concert Network Varies Contact in Spring quarter for following year's events. Co-sponsors events and concerts. Provides limited but affordable technical services. 
School of Engineering Up to $5,000 per group per year Deadlines are by quarter Open to student groups with Engineering focus
Dialogue Grant Program Up to $300 for a single applicant and $500 for two or more people applying as a group

The deadline for fall applications is Wednesday, November 16th

DGP provides funding and support for any member of the Stanford community to carry out a project or event that fosters diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity through intergroup communication. IBIC seeks to support individuals and groups who want to create spaces for authentic and vulnerable connection, where diverse experiences and identities can be explored. Tertiary Sources of Funding

Black Community Services Center $100 - $200 At least 2 weeks before the activity Supports activities that touch on the African American Diaspora. Contact the Asst. Director or Director.
Dorm Governments
(Check GrantEd for contact information)
$50 - $100 per dorm per year Rolling Contact the dorm government.
Queer Student Resources $0 - $300 At least 2 weeks prior to the event

Activities must help LGBTQ students thrive at Stanford. Contact QuEst at lgbtquest@stanford.edu  or request funding directly.

Native American Community Center $50 - $100 At least 2 weeks before the activity For educational and cultural programming. Support from additional sponsors is a plus.
Hillel @ Stanford $0 - $180 At least 2 weeks prior to the event

Events must relate to Jewish religious/cultural life or interfaith work. Contact Asst. Director
